How do Christians reconcile the idea that good non-Christians go to hell while bad Christians don't?

Hell is the common grave. The Bible says when you die you know nothing, can do nothing and have no memory. How could you be burned and know it? Ec. 9:5,6, 10,11. Also, the Bible says the wages of sin is death. Not torture. When you die you pay for your sins. So why would God then punish you again? Jesus, Jacob, Jonah and Job all either went to hell or wished to go there. Would God send such righteous people to hell? Especially his son. And don't believe them when they say Jesus just visited hell. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus went to hell to see the people being tormented there. Hellfire is a false doctrine made up from pagan doctrines.

My baby is 4 months old and wakes me up at night?

When my son was 2-3 months old he was able to sleep through the night and only wake up once around 4 to eat. Two weeks ago he got sick and now he is doing better but he wakes me up randomly throughtout the night to put his pacifier back in his mouth. I really would like to get him back the way he was so what can I do to help his sleep through the night? I have heard of a white noise machine that can help babies sleep through the night, any options or does anyone know if this will work? Help!

Preggers and need to vent a bit...........?

Ok so for anyone who wants to listen and give me some insight bc im starting to lose my cool with this topic. Its my sister in law. shes starting to piss me off, so heres a bit of the story i am 27 years old i have a great husband and a 3 year old 1 year old and one who is going to arrive in april. so as you can imagine life is pretty crazy around here. anyways my sister in law also had one baby actually on the same day my 1 year old came so their the exact same age. that alone is aggravating, their fist birthday was a fight just to get the day straight and what i wanted to do and what she was doing. i want them to have separate birthdays so does she as well. so anyways ive been able to handle her before she had a kid bc she had no idea how much life changes now she makes me nuts she still goes on how her birth was more painful bc she had a c section and i delivered naturally although i had 4 stitches in my crotch. i still do realize that yes the healing time is a bit longer with c section, but she goes on how the birth was EASY for me really hunny my first labour was 26 hours long my second hurt like hell for 16 hours and i got stitches both times. then on top of this she has to EVERTIME she comes here mention that its EASY for me bc my youngest doesn't cry and shes good, lol just bc shes a bit more easy going then her son doesn't mean i got my work cut out for me i got a very demanding 3 year old girl and a saucy 1 year old and god knows what our little guy will be like. she is always saying how difficult it is for her bc she goes to school ONE day a week like come on sweetie, you live in a 1 floor apt (no stairs or much dangers) we live in a 3400 sq foot home my kids get lost. lol YOU HAVE 1 CHILD !!! trust me i know its hard with one but dont tell me its easy for me i have 2 soon to be three one will be off to school i have to then lug three kids to school and back she has no clue her son hasn't even made it to the terrible twos or not to mention the even more terrible threes lol. im just tired of her saying that its easy for me like really i feel like telling her to come switch with me for a day. i see her she can take naps still during the day she puts him in his stroller very easily and goes outside or does laundry its not that hard with one. i was never one for this Competition thing but geez i dont like her telling me and everyone how difficult it is for her its like she has it so freaking hard. not to mention my husband works 13 hour days sometimes hers is gone from 9-5 so hes home to help her in the evening im here by myself with my kids and a big ol belly to deal with god im just annoyed.

I would just send a general thank you to both. Don't single one out for coming to the party. That will make the other feel bad and if it wasn't their fault, that isn't very nice. Just say "Dear so & so, Thank you so much for the wonderful gift you gave us...." Expand on the gift, not the absence of one party or the other. Definitely save the Thank You cards for after the wedding. Keep it simple so you don't forget who you have sent a Thank You to already and who you did not. Good luck.

How do I safely remove mineral build up from the inside of a stainless steel boiler tank?

I don't have a lot of room in the tank to move around with the heating element and the float that shuts the water intake on and off. Once I get my hand in the tank my hand blocks all visibility. Years ago I had some kind of stuff I could boil in the water with the system open to loosen the mineral deposits but it never worked no matter how many times I used it. Perhaps there is some new product that works now. This mineral build up on the walls of the tank are stuck like cement. I have always had to just get what I could out and forget the rest but after years of use it builds up.

What weight dumb bells should i use for training?

Okay im a fifteen year old guy, im 5'10 and ive been swimming for about 8 years and been thai kickboxing recently with a couple of friends. (not showing off) I've got pretty beefy/decent arms I guess, they're quite muscly and I just recently got 2 5kg dumb bells for further weight training and for ripping/toning the entire arm. I suppose I can feel a burn, but after about 15 bicep curls, and then I struggle to do 30 (for each arm), and I stop at that. My friend told me to use 10 kgs, he told me he manages 15 bicep curls and then rest and do some more later. But I've heard that too much strain can lead to muscle and joint problems. I suppose they are decent but I think I can manage with 10kg (but strain myself). Should I continue using 5kgs or upgrade to 8, 10kg?/

Anxiety issues, now spots and sparkles in my vision HELP!?

about three weeks ago ive been noticing this. it starteed off like seeing things at corner of my eye like spots or a bug flying, then when i looked at the sky it was if i had bad reception.. there was sparkles and stars flashing everywhere. its goten really bad and now i can say when im at school every once in a while the spots can be big enough to cause a tiny blind spot, maybe the size of a bead. not too big. sometimes the spot is yellow, green, red, blue, sometimes its multiple colors. MOST of the time they are little sparklins and they dont stay they flash but a few times they stay a little. I went to the doc and they put me thru a neurological test (such as walk in straight line...etc) to see if i had maybe a tumor but i ped it all so we went to they eye doc and he said my retinas are perfectly fine, then i went back to the doctor and they scheduled a CT scan to see if there was a detatch,=ment in the optic nerve or tumor or something and results came back fine. i also was put thru multiple blood pressure tests and blood tests and my blood work is all normal as well. WHAT can it be? and also it seems things are shimmering. sometimes white thinggs have a blackish hazy shimmering look to it and black things have a whitish shimmereing haze. WHATS GOIN ON? and i going blind?

In grade 3 I was really silly and I was a bad student and I was always the one who was cracking up jokes and giving the teacher a hard time, the school was about to suspend me and my dad got into a huge fight with the school board and ended up switching me from a catholic school to a public school. I went to a public school for 3 years but then this girl who was my friend started to be racist and ped negative comments about my dad and us being catholic. I told him what she had said and he once again removed me from the public school I was at and put me back into the same catholic school. I told him not to and begged him, but he did'nt listen. Anyways, In grade 7 ( last school year ) no one liked me because of stuff I said to them in grade 3.. they all made fun of me and all cornered me and called me names and hurt me.. I ended up making friends with these 3 girls and they helped me change my style so I look prettier so people would stop insulting me on that. And I did and the bullying kept going on. The 3 girls ditched me in March and said that all the teachers are starting to hate them too because of the stuff I did in grade 3. I got into a huge fight with them and ended up not speaking to them for the rest of the year. So at this point all the teachers and students hate me - every single one, even the ones that dont know me but threw there friends. I ended up spending every single recess alone.. sitting down doing nothing. Every group project i did alone while everyone else had a partner. I'm scared of going back on the first day, please help what if I dont make any friends im 13 btw

I'm a catholic myself and I'm beginning to see what most Catholics are; ignorant, childish, brainwashed. I have been noticing that most of the Catholics i know go to church and that's it. After church they go on with there life without the rules of Catholicism and disregard everything we true Catholics hold to be true. I think this is due to the fact that most Catholic parents will not let there children explore any other religions. Most of these types of parents are close minded and ignorant. i would take another few lessons to make sure you know all the strokes and flips, some swim teams are very picky about it. And me and my family shouldn't be taken as a swim lesson because on my swim team it gets you nowhere. (and I'm not in the best league) And don't worry yourself about it that will make you nervous also getting you nowhere. I would personally wait till you move and have taken more lessons. Its going to be an interesting match for sure. Look, those guys rely more on their bowlers than their batsmen. You should be wary of their spinners. They have 3 very competitive spinners who can turn the game in their favour, Ray Price, Graeme Cremer and Prosper Utseya. However, i don't think their batsmen can get 170. But be careful if their batsmen get 120-130 then NZ will get a good run for their. NZ can collapse easily anytime and those 3 bowlers are good in T20. So i guess you should be worried more about their spinners on those slow and low West Indies pitches. Don't stress about their batsmen at all, after all NZ has Bond and Vettori.................................… I just saw their score card against Aus and I'm not surprised that Elton Chigumbura scored those kind of runs, he is their most explosive guy and they rely on him too much. COLLEGE GIRLS EASY??!l!?

Betta in a community tank?

O.k so my little brother has a male betta that has been in his own tank for about 3 years. the poor thing never gets any attention, and the water needs changed desperately badly. I was wondering if I could move him in my tank? I have 3 glo-fish and 3 rummy nosed tetras, its a 10 gallon rectangle tank. I have a decorative ornament and three live plants that haven't quite grown yet and one plastic plant. would it be o.k for me to move him in with them? Okay, so there is this guy who goes on my school bus. He's three years older than me, but we know each other, mainly because one of his close friends gets off at my stop, so we (his friend and I) know each other quite well. I've tried to make decisions in my life that lead to bettering myself by being kind to others, learning to have patience, I try not to judge others for what they do. I chose to be a stay-at-home mom because I wanted the time with my child while I could still have it. I sacrificed quiet a few comforts to be able to achieve this, but I'm not sorry I did. I take the time to let him notice the world and all it's wonders. I hate seeing a parent yank his/her kid down the grocery isle when all the child wanted was to stop and smell the cinnamon. I avoid the stores this time of year. I can't stand to see people act so horribly when this is the time of year that is supposed to be peaceful and full of harmony. Then I look at my child, and I'm filled with the hope that maybe our future will get better, one child at a time. We just need to make the effort to teach them that are ways to become a good person. There are people out there that stop to smell the cinnamon. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one :) Happy Holidays

Why do computer settings change on their own?

I would like to know why computer settings frequently change spontaneously for no apparent reason. At least once a month, whilst using Word 2007, I suddenly find my second row toolbar, the one with bold, underline etc., has gone and hidden itself again. One day last week my Outlook text was suddenly blue. The gadgets (clock, news and weather) on my desk-top ecided they no longer needed to be seen (of course I brought them up again). The point is why do these little random changes happen in the first place, often betwen shutting down and then restarting the next day (so of line)? I have had a couple of more serious ones as well. My default email program morphed from Outlook to Express a few months ago. I recall suddenly finding my line spacing had doubled and so on. Any comments welcome.

Will having bronchitis and still pulling through with singing ruin my vocal chords?

I have bronchitis and I have to sing next week. My cough is pretty dry but when I cough I can taste a bit of blood, or there is a bit of blood in the phlegm (sorry gross I know but don't know how to go about it any other way) the fever part is some what over, although from time to time I feel like it may come back (feeling hot from time to time) . I slowly got my voice sort of back after a few days, wasn't able to talk at all a few days ago. I went to the doc and she said I have bronchitis, but should I bother going to my voice lessons next week if I still have bronchitis or will it damage my vocal chords? You can use hydrogen peroxide safely on rats as well as Neosporin. I use it on my boys since they get in random scuffles. Rats heal very very quick if the wound is kept clean, they are tough little things. I would watch them carefully but cage mates do get in fights now and then so as long as this isn't a common thing, and it sounds like it isn't, they should be ok, watch them though. If it happens again, Rosie may just need a break from spazzy little Shelby :).

Why would a menstrual cycle be a month long?

I know its not normal for a period to last that long but I don't know why its lasting this long and I don't have insurance right now. Why do peopople keep asking why its cold in a huricane? It isn't that cold!?

i was in cape hatteras when Huricane Earal went by. I went down to the beach. I was wearing sport shorts, a coat with a hood and sandles. It wasn't realy that cold. I was but not FREEZING! it was about 70-75 degrees. it probably felt cold because they few days before Eral went by it was like 90-100 degrees. if you go out in shorts make sure they are sports such as addidas, nikkie puma tek gear prosspirit under aumer reebok new balance champion mesh or any other sport shorts.They dry VERY FAST and are also VERY COMFTORABLE and loose fitting and that is all i wear. NEVER wear non sport shorts! they will get SOAKED and NEVER dry for HOURS! If you want to wear pants make sure they are sport pants to! ALWAYS at least have a light waterproof coat on with a hood because of the HEAVY DRENCHING rain and the STRONG BLUSTERY winds. Foot wear does not really matter but......... ALWAYS have shoes on! The huricane all in all was FUN! I got splashed by a wave, and got SOAKED (even my underwear were DRENCHED) and was able to with stain the 50-100mph winds. the winds were not that cold. they did feel a little bit chilly in a way though. It felt nice to because the days before the huricane were VERY HOT and uncomftorable so the huricane was a good way to cool off I can gerentee if someone were to gooutside in a pare of sport shorts no coat on and just a t-shirt or no shirt at all they would definetly FREEZE and get COLD! Or if you were to go swimming you would be VERY COLDthat isn why you wear a light coat. I want to go through another one now that i know what to expect and wear. All in all it was not that cold.

i have been with my wife for 7 years. I have a friend who says that she was the co-signer for a mortgage, and an auto loan. At the time she signed for the mortgage, she had only been married and living in the US for about 4 years. She had been part-time employed for maybe a year. Her husband at the time had about a 50 K a year income, but apparently had terrible credit, and that is why she had to co-sign for the loans for the house and car. She has a visa, which apparently last 15 years according to her, so she is legal to work, but not a citizen. I'm curious, is it even possible for her to be the primary signer for a mortgage or auto loan if she is not a citizen and only working a minimum wage job part-time for only a year? She also said they had to sell the house because it was going to be foreclosed and she didn't want it to ruin her credit because everything was in her name. I'm organizing a weight loss competition and there's already a lot of disagreement on how to score it. Those involved vary quite a bit in weight, some only have 10 lbs to lose and others more than 50. Everyone involved appears to be okay with the thought that a heavier person can lose pounds quicker than a person already near their goal weight, but the question is how much easier/harder is it? Is there any logical way to normalize the weight losses (or body fat % decreases) so that the smaller decreases by a skinnier person equals the larger decreases by a heavier person, roughly based on effort? Are there any scientific studies on this topic?
