Who was Maria in The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas?
Who was Maria, the maid? Was she Jewish? I read that the father was mean to Maria but the mother was nice as was Bruno. Can anyone explaine why Maria was a housekeeper IF she was Jewish? or if she was not Jewish, why did the father dislike her? Tell me about Maria?
