Do cops make good lovers?

I have been dating this cop for about 2 months now, but my friends keep telling me to dump him before he causes me any heartache. My friends tell me that cops often abuse their wives and girlfriends, cheat on them and become cold and harsh to their women. I really like this guy and don't want to look for the worst, but I can't help but listen to others with caution. Help!!
