I have a problem about college....?

I have been accepted for college and I have to hand in a letter confirming my acceptence in two weeks time. I have applied for two colleges because my girlfriend has applied for the same two colleges aswell and I want to go to the same one as her. The problem is she hasnt had any replys yet about the courses shes applied for and when she e-mailed them they said the course tutors were on holiday and wouldn't be back till mid august. So I don't want to confirm I will go on a course until I find out which college my girlfriend is going to but I have to reply before I know. What do I do?
