Are people voting for Mccain just because he was a POW?

If he knows so much about the horrors of war, then why is he so eager to drag America and the rest of the world into conflict? Why does he make jokes about bombing every nation that does not agree with America? The man wreaks of lies and stupidity, and not only that, he looks like a complete idiot when he does it because all I see is an old man who would not know how to utter one correct sentence about foreign policy. I am seriously concerned about the effectiveness of democracy in America if this man leads the polls...
